Serbian Folkloric Ensemble “Rastko”
Serbian folkloric dancing is an long held tradition within Serbian culture, past down from generation to generation. Folkloric ensemble “Rastko” in affiliation with the parish of St George Serbian Orthodox Church required a logo that would reflect folkloric dancing within the community. Incorporating the colours of the flag of Serbia within the recurring shape of the “Šajkača” (the Serbian national cap traditionally worn by men) along side the “Opanci” (the traditional footwear worn with the national costume) signifies the deep rooted tradition within the community.
